inscription, : poème: 1) cachet en haute, par l'émpereur Jitô: Spring has gone, summer came, Amano-Kaguyama mountain seems to dry her white robe in the sun.
2) Saimyouji (a court noble) was travelling all over the country. One snowy day he visited a small house at Sano and asked for something to make him warm. Being very poor, the host of that small house made fire with the precious miniature pinetrees and plum trees. Later the poor host was rewarded by Saimyouji when he went back to Kyôtô.
